South American drugs

No, I am not anywhere near the sort that this continent is famous for, but must say that a combination of cold tablets and altitude (9 000 feet) does make for some interesting sensations.

If you'll excuse me now, I have to go lick the windows.

  1. Dear Peter,

I've never written to an author but felt the need to write to you after reading just a few pages from your book, "Don't Look Behind You." This is, perhaps, the wrong forum for such feedback but I was unable to locate an email address for you. While I was thoroughly entertained and enlightened after reading your first book, I feel deeply disappointed with the second. It reads like it was written by a different person, lacking the personality, conversational and engaging qualities present in the first book. Specifically, I was nagged by the overwhelming amount of self-deprecating humor, and the overuse of unnecessarily complicated and uncommon words. I also observed that you described Titus (if it's the same one) quite differently in the second book. In the first, he was described as hilariously funny, but notoriously lazy. Thus far in my reading, it appears that this Titus is a totally different person which leaves me a little baffled. I'm not sure what may have changed, as far as the writing/editing process of this book, but all I can say is, Whatever You Do, Don't Sell Out.
