We would like to invite you to join us for an intimate gathering with one of our favourite travel writers, Peter Allison. Peter spent over a decade working as a safari guide in Africa before turning his hand to writing and his books are a brilliant insight into life in the African bush.
Peter has kindly taken a break from an epic journey through South America, where he is currently researching his third book, to spend an evening entertaining us, and a handful of our guests with his safari adventures. Anyone who has been on safari, or is dreaming of doing so in the future, will enjoy his laugh-out-loud stories from his time as a safari guide in Southern Africa.
The talk will take place in the iconic The Travel Bookshop in Notting Hill on 4 November (full details and address below). The evening is kindly sponsored by our good friends and Peter’s former employers, Wilderness Safaris, who operate some of the most exclusive lodges in Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean. Places are extremely limited so please let us know as soon as possible if you are able/unable to attend.
