High!

I have just travelled through the Atacama desert into the Andean town of Uyuni in Bolivia - altitude sickness is about as pleasant as dog flatulence bur everything else here is spectacular. Over the next week I will make my way through the towns of Potosi, Sucre and Santa Cruz before getting into the jungle and carrying on my search to see a wild a jaguar.

    Hope you recover soon to enjoy your adventure! Had fun reading your first book, look forward to second. I fell in love with Africa my first trip in 96, returned to Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda. Hope you find your jaguar - went into Bwindi forest (no trails) trying to find gorillas after hiking to the top of the mountain, back down, finally found a family of 30, two silverbacks, playing, sleeping, acting out, (much flatulence) etc escaped covered in mud head to toe 12 hours later, worth it! Botswana looks fantastic! who to book with, best time to go? contact info? logistics? more stories!
