Today I spent fifteen minuted berating a universal power adapter that I had only recently bought for suddenly ceasing to operate. Harris, a good friend I am staying with in Chile casually asked what position the on/off switch was in.
There are many, many days that I wonder if I don't share a little more DNA with monkeys than most...

well, you see that's why we,in India, realized the truth about monkeys, and made a god out of him! :)
And from an elephant! If I had to choose a religion I think Hinduism would suit me best just for that.
Dear Peter,
I am a University student currently studying Zoology with Animal Behaviour in the UK as I, like you, have a seemingly limitless love for nature :) . As part of my course, I have been given the oppurtunity to join an expidition to Honduras this upcoming summer, with a conservation charity, as a research assistant to help with various conservation projects that are being undertaken there. However, to do this i must first fundraise sufficient amounts to help cover the costs of flights etc. I was wondering if you would be interested in perhaps sponsoring me and making a donation to my cause, or at help by pointing me in the right direction with some organisations i can write to.
Please help me as it is my dream to work with wildlife, specifically helping to conserve the endangered species of our planet :)

PS. I just finished reading your first book and LOVED it and am about to start (ie within the next 10 minutes) reading your second one.
Peter, I just finished re-reading your first book and am about to begin your newest one. Your writing and humor or fantastic. Please sign up on Facebook (I just did) so that I can connect with you as a fan and tell all of my friends about your books. All the best, Mike Cooney mike@cooneyworldadventure.com
Hi Mike, I am on Facebook - with the same picture as I have here so I hope it is easy to find.
Peter, I just became a fan of yours on FB and wrote a posting telling all of my friends about your books. My family and I have a Cooney World Adventure FB page and invite you to become a fan of ours. I am working on a project in South Africa I believe you will be very interested in. Please send me an email to mike@cooneyworldadventure.com and I will tell you more about it. Based on your love of African wildlife, I promise it's something you will be interested in. Like you, I am also friends with Jack Hanna and have told him about the project and he's interested in it too. All the best!
